Description

A walk upstream along the Rieutord and crop terraces held up by low dry-stone walls. Signposts will guide you all along this route. In the description below, the signposted place names and/or directions are given in bold italics between quotation marks : Starting from "Sumène, Av. de la Gare", walk to “Le Mejanet” via: - “Sumène - Pont Grand”, - “Diguedan” and - “Le Gougagnadou”. - At "Le Mejanet", return to “Sumène - Av. de la gare” via - “Radier”, then “Diguedan” and “Sumène - Pont Grand”. This walk is taken from the guidebook Autour de Ganges et Sumène published by the Communauté de Communes des Cévennes Gangeoises et Suménoises as part of the collection Espaces Naturels Gardois et Héraultais.
